Sunday school

for all ages...

Adults can typically choose between 2-3 different class options on Sunday mornings. Our classes are a great way to learn God's word, grow in our ability to connect the gospel to everyday life, and meet new friends.

Jesus the Messiah

ADULT CLASS

Teacher: Mike Gardenhire
This class taught by Pastor Mike covers the same content and the children and youth Sunday School Classes on an adult level. This gives people in the congregation opportunities to personally grow in their walk with the Lord as well as the opportunity to join in spiritual conversations with a wide range of ages. It will also give parents an opportunity to further disciple their children in what they are learning during Sunday School.  The study will enter the era in which God begins to fill His promise of salvation through the person and work of Jesus Christ. The sessions will take a closer look at the context surrounding Jesus's birth, the theological parallels between Adam and Jesus, as well as the early ministry of Jesus. The hope is that as you study the scripture that you will be drawn to worship Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Meets 9:00am in classroom A-3.

Peacemakers Class

ADULT CLASS

Teacher: Pastor Emeritus John Powell
Jesus said we show we're children of God by how we make peace.
Matthew 5:9 tells us
 " Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God."
In Relational Wisdom and Peacemaking we'll learn the Gospel Ministry of Reconciliationboth how to wisely avoid conflict and how to reconcile
when conflict develops.
 2Corinthians 5:18-21
18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling[a] the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Meets 9:00am in the main auditorium.
